This quote describes Pastor Christine Melton.  Receiving

Christ at an early age, she had a great influence in that of her

mother, Pastor Maggie Melton, to develop into a powerful,

gracious and loving woman of God.  Knowing God had His

hand on her life, she accepted the call to ministry while

attending East Carolina University obtaining her

Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information

Management.  The Lord spoke loudly and strongly to her

heart and with the guidance of her then pastor, Elder Quincy Gardner Jr. at Saint Delight Holy Church, she took the appropriate steps to ordination into the ministry.

Her mother, Pastor Maggie Melton, was already ordained and preaching the Word of God at the time she accepted her calling.  She credits her mother and others like her brother, Bishop Christopher Paul, her friend Iris Jones, Elder Joan King and Pastor Shirley Pigford for providing strength, inspiration and godly examples of loving God and the Body of Christ.

Not only does Pastor Christine, as she is known at One Church, operate as Resident Pastor at One Church-Raleigh and

One Churchl-Hampstead but she is a very savvy business woman who seeks to empower the Body of Christ in the areas of career management and wealth building.  She is found often speaking words of encouragement to others in order to thrust them into not only doing the will of God but also “becoming” the will of God in every area of their life.
